Ess is a small team of designers that focus on a limited number of projects. This allows ess to utilise the entire studios resources to ess is a small team of designers that focus on a limited number of projects. Alex and Robert work directly on each project across all aspects of the design, documentation and delivery of each building. ess provides a full design, documentation and delivery service from feasibility through to on site management for the completion of the project, photography and branding of the product. Only by understanding each aspect of a project can you create a successful solution.

Alex brings a unique blend of creative vision, technical expertise and leadership skills to guide projects from concept to completion. With extensive experience in managing teams, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and navigating the complexities of the design process, Alex creates spaces that are both timeless and memorable.

Robert is a highly experienced architect who has led the design and delivery of numerous award-winning public, commercial, and residential projects. He has worked with top firms both domestically and abroad, including Foster and Partners in London.

Robert approaches design with critical thinking and strategic execution, taking into account site complexities, regulations, construction methods, and budget to create innovative solutions. He excels at managing teams and communicating with clients to ensure efficient project delivery.

As a leader at ess, Robert also drives the adoption of new technologies to improve the design process, construction quality, and maintain the company's position as a creative industry leader..
